Nashville Or Bust! Getting ready to go!! My Nashville TOP 10 list...
It’s been a whirlwind 2nd day of NY Fashion Week! So many shows. So little time. The Pamela Roland show was particularly awesome! Thinking about upcoming shows, especially for hot up and coming labels FLAGPOLE SWIM, MAX GENGOS, SELF-PORTRAIT, M. MARTIN, GROUND ZERO, PYER MOSS and BRANDON MAXWELL. These are the labels to watch!
Also, musing on our upcoming trip to Nashville to teach my fashion photography MASTER CLASS, and about everything I love about this charming and wonderful city. So here are my TOP 10 things I love about Nashville!
#1. Lower Broadway, especially Robert’s Western World. Love this whiskey soaked Honky-Tonk!
#2. Big country breakfasts! Can’t wait to have the biscuits at The Loveless Cafe!
#3. The Grand Ole Opry! No explanation needed.
#4. Listening to the best country music Nashville has to offer at The Bluebird Cafe, Bluegrass Inn, Bobby’s Idle Hour Tavern or Tootsie's Orchid Lounge!
#5. The upscale cuisine at Etch, Kayne Prime and Tartufo. Sublime.
#6. The BARBECUE!!!! Mandatory stops at Martin's Bar-B-Que Joint and Jack's Bar-B-Que required!
#7. The rich history. The Belle Meade Plantation is absolutely beautiful and a great place to start.
#8 The fried chicken! It’s the best in Nashville, especially at Hattie B’s Hot Chicken!
#9. RCA Studio B or Ryman Auditorium. From Elvis to Cash to Dolly, it’s a wonderful walk down country musics hall of fame and rich musical history.
#10. Southern hospitality! The warmth of Nashville’s people, culture and charm can’t be beat.
So, counting down to our road trip, and looking forward to all this wonderfulness!
