It was such a gorgeous place!
My day consisted of 7am breathing and meditation
7:30am organic local produce breakfast
9:30-12:30 Qoya session (yoga, dance, meditation and sensual movement)
lunch… then I was free to surf, kayak, get a massage, horseback riding on the beach, nap or take photos. I did this over the course of 7 days… followed by nightly rituals and ceremonies.
it was a life transforming experience. the amazingly gifted qoya teacher - rochelle, created such a sacred space for us to be “wise, wild and free”… and I truly felt like I was in some sort of paradise. the women at the retreat were all so open, loving and kind. we danced for each other, shared dreams and secrets, and encouraged each other to appreciate the beauty in ourselves and each other, and dream BIG.
here is just a small sample of some of my shots… i just started to edit them, so i have many, many more that I will be posting soon. if anyone wants to find out more about QOYA or this awesome retreat, you can visit Rochelle’s website: http://www.wisewildandfree.com/
I love photography assignments that take me to such beautiful locations around the world. traveling is one of my favorite things to do, and nosara, costa rica was a magical place!
