Every Friday I post an old photo from my library of images that I photographed. This is one image from a series that I created for a "beauty" exhibition.
The ARTISTIC aspect of the image: As with most of my beauty shots, I tend to have the models have a bit of attitude and be a little "off" in some way. This photo makes me think of a housewife who has a double life... maybe as an undercover agent, or international jewel thief on the side.
The TECHNICAL aspect of the image: I used only one light for this shot. It was a high key light placed high above the model to shine down on her hair, and positioned slightly behind her. It was set to very low power so I could open up and create a very shallow depth of field (have the background wall be blown out of focus).
